JOB OVERVIEW

LuxNomads is a fast-growing global brand helping people relocate abroad and live a luxury, location-independent lifestyle.

We are hiring a Short-Form Video Editor to turn long-form talking videos into high-performing TikTok / Reels content.

This is NOT basic editing.
We are looking for someone who understands:
X hooks
X retention
X pacing
X storytelling

If you only know how to add captions and cut clips, this role is not for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Edit 5 long-form videos per week into short-form clips
• Cut videos into 90–120 second high-retention clips
• Add:
• Burned-in captions
• Strong hooks in the first 3 seconds
• Clean zoom cuts and pacing
• Maintain a premium, clean style (not spammy TikTok edits)
• Optimize videos for:
• Retention
• Clarity
• Mobile viewing
• Deliver edits within 24–48 hours

CONTENT STYLE
• Talking-head educational videos
• Topics: relocation, visas, digital nomad lifestyle
• Tone: confident, aspirational, premium

Think: Alex Hormozi meets luxury travel brand

WORKFLOW
• You receive: 5 raw videos per week (5–7 minutes each)
• You deliver: multiple short clips per video
• Files organized via Google Drive
• Communication via Slack or WhatsApp

REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience editing short-form content
• Strong understanding of:
• Hooks
• Retention editing
• Viral structure
• Experience with TikTok / Instagram Reels formatting
• Fast turnaround (24–48 hours)
• Strong attention to detail

BONUS
• Experience with Metricool
• Experience editing for personal brands
• Ability to suggest better cuts or clip ideas
