The Law Offices of Tresa A. Sadler, PLLC is a distinguished legal powerhouse located in Mill Creek, Washington. With a strong emphasis on family law and estate planning, the firm provides compassionate guidance and skilled advocacy across divorce, custody, and complex asset divisions. Tresa A. Our firm serves many families across Snohomish and King Counties, expertly handling high-asset cases with precision and professionalism. With years of experience, we pride ourselves on our ability to navigate complicated legal landscapes, offering clear strategies that are both efficient and effective. This position is not just about maintaining numbers; it’s about enabling the firm to continue delivering exceptional legal services while maintaining compliance and financial integrity, especially regarding trust accounts. You will play a pivotal role in transforming our financial chaos into order, affecting our clients’ trust and the firm's professional standing.

Systems Stabilization: Clarify revenue and expense tracking, ensuring accurate books in preparation for tax filing.
Documentation: Provide clear, comprehensive documentation of corrections and establish processes for maintaining clean books.
Future Preparation: Prepare the firm for a system migration with a clean financial slate, ensuring successful transition to MyCase.

What we’re looking for:
QuickBooks Expertise: Proven experience with QuickBooks Online cleanup projects; individuals who are certified are highly preferred.
Trust Accounting Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in three-way reconciliations and compliance with IOLTA requirements, with a strong understanding of the high-risk nature of trust accounting and the importance of accuracy in maintaining regulatory compliance.
Autonomy: This role is well-suited for someone who works confidently and independently, can take initial direction and run with it, and keeps the team informed through clear and timely updates.
Analytical Skills: Strong capability to diagnose financial discrepancies and implement effective solutions.
Communication: Ability to clearly explain financial corrections and provide needed updates to the team.
English Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team and clearly present financial findings.
Project-Based Engagement: Open to a 3–4 month contract role focused on completing a defined accounting cleanup project, with the potential for additional work depending on future needs.
Remote Work Readiness: Able to work independently in a remote environment, maintaining consistent productivity, reliability, and clear communication without the need for close supervision.

Why you should work here:
High-Impact Role: Play a crucial part in a project with immediate and visible outcomes, enhancing the firm’s compliance and integrity.
Professional Autonomy: Enjoy the freedom to run your projects with minimal oversight and direct access to leadership for swift decision-making.
Meaningful Work: Contribute to a firm that deeply values the precision and reliability of its financial operations, ultimately impacting client trust and firm reputation.
Professional Growth: Opportunity to engage with complex financial systems, perfect for enhancing your accounting portfolio.
Monthly Compensation: $1,750 - $2,000 per month
