About Us
98 Buck Social is a fast-growing digital marketing agency dedicated to delivering high-quality social media content for clients across a wide range of industries. We move fast, we care about quality, and we're building a team of talented individuals who want to grow with us for the long haul. This is not just a job — it's an opportunity to be part of something bigger and advance your career within a results-driven agency environment.
The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Content Editor to join our team immediately. In this role, you will be a key part of our content production workflow — reviewing, editing, and refining content across multiple formats to ensure everything that goes out meets our agency's quality standards and aligns with each client's brand voice.
You will work directly with our internal team and client feedback to manage revisions and produce polished, publish-ready content across social media platforms. If you are someone who takes pride in their work, has a sharp eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
Content Review & Editing: Receive assigned content from our team, review it thoroughly, and edit it to meet quality, tone, and brand standards before it goes to clients or is published.
Client Edit Implementation: Review client-requested revisions and implement them accurately and efficiently — this includes updating captions, copy, calls-to-action, hashtags, and other text-based elements.
Video Editing: Make edits to short-form and social media video content — including trimming, caption updates, text overlays, transitions, music adjustments, and formatting for various platforms (Instagram Reels, TikToks,
Static Graphic Updates: Edit and update static graphic designs in Canva — swapping images, updating text, resizing for different platforms, and ensuring brand consistency across all client assets.
Content Creation Support: Assist the content creation team in building out new posts, graphics, and video content from existing templates or briefs as needed.
Quality Control: Serve as a second set of eyes on content before it goes live — catching errors, inconsistencies, or anything that doesn't align with brand guidelines.
Organized Turnarounds: Manage a consistent volume of content tasks with a strong sense of urgency and organization, ensuring deadlines are always met.
Requirements — Please Read Carefully
Canva Proficiency is Non-Negotiable. You must be highly efficient in Canva — not just familiar with it. You should be able to navigate templates, build from scratch, resize designs across formats, and produce professional-quality graphics quickly.
Strong English Communication Skills. You must be able to speak and write in clear, professional English. You will be working with US-based clients and an English-speaking team, so communication must be crisp, confident, and error-free.
Experience in Video Editing. Comfort with editing short-form social media video content is required.
Attention to Detail. You catch what others miss. Grammar, spacing, formatting, brand alignment — nothing gets past you.
Reliability & Responsiveness. You show up, you meet deadlines, and you communicate proactively if something comes up. We need someone who treats this role with professionalism.
Marketing Agency Experience (preferred). Prior experience working with or for a marketing agency is a big plus, but not required if your portfolio speaks for itself.
Passion for Growth. We are building a team, not just filling a seat. We want people who want to develop their skills, take on more responsibility over time, and grow with us.
