We’re looking for a detail-oriented and thoughtful Recruiting Coordinator to help us manage our hiring pipeline.
This role focuses on reviewing applicants, identifying high-quality candidates, and coordinating interviews. Over time, there is an opportunity to take ownership of initial screening calls and play a key role in our hiring process.
This is a part-time, remote role with flexible hours. Workload may vary depending on hiring needs, with heavier hours during active hiring periods and lighter during slower periods.
Responsibilities
* Review inbound applicants and evaluate fit based on defined criteria
* Shortlist top candidates and provide brief notes on each
* Coordinate and schedule interviews with selected candidates
* Maintain an organized tracker of all applicants and statuses
* Communicate with candidates (follow-ups, confirmations, rejections)
* Send reminders and ensure a smooth interview experience
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
* Experience speaking with candidates over video or phone
* Familiarity with U.S. hiring expectations
* Excellent written English (clear, concise, and professional)
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to evaluate candidates and make thoughtful decisions
* Comfortable communicating with U.S.-based applicants
* Able to write messages that are natural, not templated or robotic
* Comfortable working independently and managing tasks without constant direction
Screening Question: You have 100 applicants for a role and can only move forward with 2–3 candidates.
Walk us through exactly how you would approach this.
* What would you look for first?
* What would immediately disqualify someone?
* What makes a candidate stand out enough to move forward?
Please be specific and concise.
