We are looking for a long-term, reliable Virtual Assistant with real experience in US healthcare/home care.
You MUST have hands-on experience with claims, EHR systems, and EVV (electronic visit verification). This is not a general VA role, we need someone who understands billing, authorizations, and compliance.
Daily Tasks
Submit and track claims using Availity and other clearinghouses
Fix rejected/denied claims
Work inside EHR systems (update patient records, notes, authorizations)
Manage EVV using HHAeXchange (clock in/out, visit fixes)
Verify insurance eligibility & benefits
Assist with authorizations and plan of care tracking
Communicate with caregivers and agencies
Keep everything organized and compliant
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (Do NOT apply if you don’t have this)
Experience with Availity
Experience with HHAeXchange
Worked with US healthcare billing (Medicaid or insurance)
Used clearinghouses (Waystar, Office Ally, Change Healthcare, etc.)
Understand claim rejections, modifiers, and authorizations
(Preferred)
Home care / home health experience
Michigan Medicaid, Aetna, Molina, or WellCare experience
EHR systems (CareTime, AxisCare, AlayaCare, etc.)
EVV compliance experience (especially live-in caregivers)
Work Details
Remote, long-term position
Pay based on experience:
$5–$6/hour to start (training/trial period)
Increase to $6–$8/hour after 30 days based on performance
