JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Cost Estimator with strong experience in both commercial and residential construction projects, specifically focusing on Sydney-based tenders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and capable of producing accurate estimates while managing multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial and residential construction projects.
Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Ensure all estimates comply with Sydney construction regulations and laws.
Manage and respond to tender requests for Sydney-based projects.
Collaborate with project managers and other tea ---------- mbers to ensure accurate project forecasting.
Utilize tools such as Buildxact and Aroflo

Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial and residential construction estimation.
Demonstrated experience in Sydney construction tenders.
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications accurately.
Knowledge of Sydney construction laws, codes, and industry standards.
Proficient in construction estimation software (Buildxact, Aroflo).
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Information:
Applicants will complete a couple of paid trial runs to ensure suitability for the role before confirming full-time engagement.
This is a remote position, but familiarity with the Sydney construction market is essential.
Time Zone: Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST / AEDT during daylight saving).
Video introduction required: a short video (1–2 minutes) introducing yourself and summarizing your relevant experience.
Clear demonstration of past experience through CV, portfolio, or examples of previous estimation work.
