We're looking for a sharp content copywriter to own our agency's beehiiv newsletter, which goes out to 10,000+ ecommerce brand owners and founders. This is not client work for a single brand. This is our own content engine, and your writing will represent the voice and authority of the agency.
**The Role**
You'll be writing in-depth, high-value newsletter content that positions us as the go-to retention marketing agency in the DTC ecommerce space. Your audience is brand owners, founders, and marketing leaders who are running real businesses and want actionable insight they can use immediately.
You'll work directly with our founder and content team to align on editorial direction, topic selection, and cadence.
**What You'll Do**
- Write and publish weekly newsletters through beehiiv to our audience of 10,000+ ecommerce brand owners and founders
- Manage and operate beehiiv as a platform, including list growth, segmentation, scheduling, analytics, and optimization (or bring strong recommendations on alternative newsletter platforms if applicable)
- Produce in-depth articles and long-form content pieces that go well beyond surface-level advice
- Write from the perspective of an agency that manages retention marketing at scale across dozens of brands
- Research trending topics, platform updates (especially Klaviyo), and timely industry angles that matter to brand owners
- Learn and internalize key internal SOPs so your content reflects how a high-performing
- Craft subject lines and preview text that drive opens in a crowded inbox
- Maintain a consistent brand voice that is direct, opinionated, conversational, and anti-guru
**What You Must Bring**
- A deep, working understanding of Klaviyo, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, analytics, deliverability, and platform features
- Hands-on experience managing beehiiv or similar newsletter platforms (Substack, ConvertKit, etc.), with the ability to own the full publishing workflow
- Proficiency with Claude (Opus 4.6) or a willingness to learn quickly. This is our primary writing and research tool, and we expect you to become fluent in using large language models as part of your workflow
- Strong knowledge of how
- Proven ability to write in-depth, long-form content and articles about
- The ability to quickly learn and absorb internal SOPs, frameworks, and processes, then translate them into clear, authoritative content that speaks to brand owners
- Experience writing for an audience of founders, operators, or decision-makers (not consumers)
- Strong research skills and the ability to turn complex strategy into engaging, readable writing
- Deadline reliability and the ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding
**Bonus Points**
- Experience working inside or alongside an

- Comfortable referencing real campaign data, case studies, or platform analytics in your writing
