Amazon FBA Wholesale Purchasing Manager – Experienced Only

We are hiring an Amazon FBA Wholesale Account Manager with a strong focus on purchase order management, vendor relationships, and buyer oversight.
This role is heavily focused on reviewing and submitting purchase orders, maintaining communication with vendors, and overseeing a team of buyers by reviewing their work and holding them accountable to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.

We’re looking for someone who already has experience managing buyers and reviewing their purchase orders, not someone learning this for the first time.

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of an Amazon FBA wholesale business. This includes analyzing supplier catalogs, making purchasing decisions, and managing inventory to keep the account running efficiently.
If you’ve actually worked inside a wholesale operation and understand how everything ties together, this will be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Product Analysis
Analyze supplier catalogs to identify profitable wholesale products
Perform deep product analysis using Keepa, Rev Seller, Seller Central data, and other tools
Evaluate competition, buy box behavior, and sales velocity before purchasing

Purchase Orders & Purchasing
Create, review, and approve purchase orders
Ensure pricing, margins, and quantities meet company buying criteria
Submit orders to vendors and track confirmations, invoices, and timelines
Catch and fix mistakes before they impact inventory or cash flow

Vendor Management
Subitting purchase orders and communicating directly with suppliers and distributors
Maintain strong relationships and ensure smooth ordering processes
Handle delays, shortages, pricing issues, and backorders

Buyer Management
Manage and oversee a team of buyers
Review their work and ensure buying decisions meet company buying criteria
Provide feedback, catch mistakes, and enforce consistency
Hold the team accountable for performance and output

Inventory & Replenishment
Track inventory levels and maintain proper stock levels
Plan replenishment based on sales velocity and historical data
Forecast demand and coordinate restocks
Avoid stockouts and over-ordering

Performance Tracking
Track purchasing activity, inventory levels, and overall performance of the buying team
Identify inefficiencies and improve processes where needed.

Requirements
3+ years of experience managing Amazon FBA wholesale accounts (not private label, not arbitrage)
Strong understanding of Keepa and product analysis
Experience in analyzing supplier catalogs and making purchasing decisions
Experience creating, reviewing, and submitting purchase orders
Experience working directly with suppliers and distributors
Deep familiarity with Seller Central (shipments, reconciliations, account health, troubleshooting)
Understanding of buy box behavior, competition, and replenishment
