JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor specializing in short-form content creation and social media retention. Your primary role will be to create engaging and compelling videos for professional speakers that captivate audiences across various web and social media platforms. You should have a solid understanding of graphic animation and rotoscoping techniques.
At SpeakerVideos, simply adding subtitles is not enough, we are looking for editors who go beyond by creatively using graphic animation, B-roll, and rotoscoping to enhance storytelling.

Please share your three best edited videos when applying. Attention to detail and a proactive mindset in approaching both creative challenges and routine tasks are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
? Editing and Assembling Footage: Cut, splice, and edit raw footage into cohesive and engaging short-form videos that align with the project's vision and goals.
? Music Selection and Sound Design: Select appropriate soundtracks and sound effects, and perform audio mixing to enhance the viewer experience. A strong understanding of music is essential.
? Color Grading and Correction: Adjust and enhance color settings to ensure visual consistency and appeal.
? Graphics and Special Effects: Incorporate motion graphics and special effects to enhance storytelling.
? Collaboration: Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to ensure a unified vision.
? Timely Delivery: Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are consistently met without compromising quality.
? Quality Control: Review edits thoroughly, incorporate feedback, and make necessary revisions to achieve the desired outcome.
? Industry Awareness: Stay updated on video editing trends, techniques, and software.

Experience Required
? Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form video work.
? Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro (PC), Adobe After Effects, or similar tools.
? Strong creative flair with an excellent eye for detail and storytelling.
? Effective teamwork and communication skills, with experience working collaboratively in remote teams.
? Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
? Adaptability to client feedback and changing project requirements.
