JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing construction company based in Vancouver, Canada, specializing in drywall, steel stud framing, and ceiling systems for commercial and healthcare projects.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team remotely.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall, steel stud framing, insulation, and ceiling systems
• Use software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or On-Screen Takeoff
• Review drawings, specifications, and addenda to identify scope requirements
• Coordinate with our team for pricing, scope clarification, and deadlines
• Assist with preparing quotations and bid submissions

Requirements:
• Proven experience in construction estimating (drywall/framing preferred)
• Strong knowledge of takeoff tools (Bluebeam is a must)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good English communication skills
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work during overlap hours with Vancouver (PST)

Nice to Have:
• Experience with North American construction projects
• Knowledge of materials and methods for drywall and steel stud framing
