About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable Zoho CRM & Automation Specialist to join Wandering Lion on either a project basis or in a longer-term role, depending on fit and capability.
This role is for someone with strong hands-on experience across the Zoho ecosystem, especially Zoho CRM, automations, integrations, and workflow design. We want someone who can help build and improve the systems behind lead flow, sales process management, reporting visibility, operational efficiency, and customer journey support.
This is not just a setup role. We want someone who can think commercially, understand how a sales funnel works, and design Zoho systems that support better lead handling, cleaner pipeline management, stronger automation, and more efficient internal processes.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate real experience through previous projects, relevant qualifications, and ideally Zoho certifications.
Key Responsibilities
Zoho CRM setup and optimisation
Build, customise, and improve Zoho CRM environments to support sales processes, lead management, reporting, and operational clarity.
Automation design and implementation
Develop and implement automations across Zoho applications to reduce manual work, improve speed, and create more reliable workflows.
Sales funnel and flow support
Design systems and automations that support lead capture, follow-up, deal stage movement, handover points, and sales visibility.
Integration and connected systems
Connect Zoho with forms, websites,
Zoho application configuration
Configure and customise Zoho tools based on business needs, including platforms such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Desk, Zoho Books, and other relevant Zoho products.
Testing and troubleshooting
Test workflows, identify system issues, and troubleshoot automation or integration problems to ensure reliability and performance.
Documentation and process support
Document automations, logic, workflows, and system structure clearly so internal teams can understand and use them effectively.
Training and guidance
Provide support, guidance, and practical training to tea
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Zoho CRM / Zoho Automation specialist
Strong hands-on capability across Zoho CRM and related Zoho applications
Deep experience building complex automations, workflows, and integrations
Ability to design systems around sales funnels, lead flow, pipeline management, and operational processes
Strong understanding of business process improvement and workflow efficiency
Ability to configure Zoho tools based on specific commercial and operational requirements
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver clean, reliable implementation
Experience with other CRM, automation, or project management tools is an advantage
Preferred
Experience with Zoho Creator, Zoho Desk, Zoho Books, and broader Zoho suite tools
Relevant Zoho qualifications or certifications
Experience building systems for sales, service, reporting, or multi-step customer journeys
Familiarity with API connections, third-party integrations, and automation platforms
Experience supporting founder-led businesses, agencies, or service-based organisations

Are you comfortable using Hubstaff time tracking? Our whole team operates remotely, including our field and admin staff in Australia. Hubstaff helps us understand time allocation across projects, improve internal reporting, and provide clearer updates to clients.
4) Working hours / availability
Can you commit to the required hours? Our standard workdays are Monday to Friday, generally within 9:00am–5:00pm (Philippines time). We offer reasonable flexibility — family and life come first — but we do need consistency and clear communication.
