The Role (What You’ll Actually Be Doing)

You will own the front-end estimating and supplement process, ensuring every project is properly scoped, documented, and positioned for approval.

This includes:

Reviewing insurance Scopes of Loss and comparing them to real project requirements
Identifying missing line items, code requirements, and overlooked scope gaps
Writing clean, structured Xactimate estimates and supplements
Rebuilding estimates when needed (not copying thinking)
Reviewing photos, EagleView reports, and documentation for accuracy
Preparing files that require minimal to zero revision before approval
Organizing all project files in Google Drive
Assisting with material ordering based on finalized scopes
Supporting internal communication on Slack regarding job status and scope clarity

Your estimates are approved faster with fewer revisions
You consistently catch what others miss
You can handle multiple files without sacrificing accuracy
Your files are organized, labeled, and easy to audit
You think through the entire build process not just the estimate line items

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
2–5 years working with U.S.-based clients
Strong experience using Xactimate (X1)
Ability to read and interpret insurance scopes of loss
Understanding of residential roofing and/or Siding
Ability to identify code-required upgrades and missing scope items
Strong written and spoken English
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience writing and negotiating supplements
Background in roofing, exterior Siding, or general construction
Familiarity with AccuLynx, JobNimbus, Google Drive, Excel
Experience reading blueprints or EagleView reports

Within 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Central Time)

Important Operating Standard (Read Carefully)
Every estimate must be structured in a way that allows our team to move directly into production without confusion or missing scope.

This includes one non-negotiable requirement:
You must input the EagleView roof drawings at the end of every estimate.
Failure to follow this instruction will be treated as a critical process breakdown, not a small mistake.
