JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description

I’m building a team to handle SEO for service-based businesses across the U.S.

My background is in the trades. I founded, ran, and sold an HVAC company after over a decade, so I understand how these businesses operate, the value of visibility on Google, and the importance of a strong online reputation, especially Google reviews.

To be upfront, SEO is not my background. However, I understand how critical it is for service businesses to be found online, which is why I’m building a team of professionals who specialize in this.

Right now, I’m working through Upwork to begin building the agency. Starting out, most work will originate on Upwork, where I will add you to the agency I’m building. Once the team is established, the plan is to build a website, develop a brand, and operate independently.

Google Business Profile (GBP) suspensions and reinstatements
Google Local Services Ads (LSA) account issues and verification problems
Review-related issues, including removals when applicable
General account problems that may be limiting visibility in this niche

Local SEO (Google Business Profile optimization, maps ranking)
On-page SEO for service-based websites
Keyword research focused on real customer intent
Citation building and basic backlink strategies
Content optimization (service + location pages)
Tracking rankings, traffic, and lead flow

This role starts as a performance-based opportunity:

You earn 40% of net profit per project
The business retains 60%

If multiple freelancers are involved:

The 40% is split accordingly
2 freelancers ? 20?ch
3 freelancers ? split evenly

You are paid as long as you are actively working on the project, whether it is one-time or ongoing monthly work.

Payment can be sent via Wise or PayPal.
