The Role
We’re looking for a Tester with strong experience in GitHub Pipelines and test automation who takes pride in delivering high?quality, well?tested software and enjoys working closely with developers and project teams.
As a Tester, you will be responsible for validating software functionality, reliability, and performance across multiple projects. You’ll work closely with developers, QA, and project managers to ensure testing is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.

This role suits someone who is detail oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured, process driven environment.

Rate: AUD $6 – $7 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
• Review requirements and specifications to design clear, comprehensive test cases
• Create, manage, and execute test cases using GitHub Pipelines
• Perform manual and automated testing across applications and systems
• Design and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to validate fixes
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and standards

Requirements

Essential:
• Proven experience as a Tester / QA Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands on experience with GitHub Pipelines
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, or similar)
• Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality outcomes
• Clear communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with remote teams
• Honest, reliable, and able to follow standards and specifications

Nice to have:
• Familiarity with C# ---------- based applications
• Copilot CLI experience
• AI Agent experience
• Experience testing database driven systems

Availability:
• Preferably available for at least 6 hours between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm (GMT+10)
