We are seeking a seasoned, highly creative Social Media Manager to lead content strategy and execution for a men’s beauty and hair product brand. This role is hands-on and execution-driven, with a strong emphasis on short-form video, Reels, and performance-ready social content. The ideal candidate is both a conceptual thinker and a skilled editor who can take an idea from concept to final deployment across social platforms.
This is not a Canva-based design role. We are looking for someone with professional video editing capabilities and a proven portfolio of short-form video content that performs.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar aligned with brand, product launches, and campaigns
• Conceptualize, script, shoot (where applicable), and edit high-quality short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style formats)
• Own the full content lifecycle: ideation, editing, optimization, posting, and iteration
• Edit professional-grade videos using industry-standard tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
• Create visually compelling, on-brand content tailored for men’s grooming, hair, and lifestyle audiences
• Stay current on platform trends, audio, hooks, pacing, and best practices for short-form video
• Ensure consistent brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling across all social channels
• Collaborate with internal teams on product messaging, campaigns, and growth initiatives
Required Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of experience managing social media for consumer brands, preferably in beauty, grooming, fashion, or lifestyle
• Strong short-form video editing skills with a clear portfolio of Reels and social video content
• Ability to independently develop creative concepts and execute them at a professional level
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other short-form social platforms
• Experience creating content that is performance-focused, not just aesthetically pleasing
• Strong time management skills and ability to execute consistently on a monthly calendar
• Portfolio Requirements (Mandatory)

• Examples of short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) they have personally edited
• Clear indication of their role in concept development and execution
• Links to live social accounts or performance examples (if available)
