JOB OVERVIEW

Confidante Property Management is seeking a high-impact Director of Finance to lead our accounting function and scale our financial infrastructure alongside our continued growth. This is a leadership role for a disciplined, numbers-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can bring clarity, structure, and accountability to financial operations.

This role will work directly with ownership and executive leadership, with full responsibility for financial reporting, systems optimization, and performance-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, and financial reporting
Deliver accurate, timely financial statements and executive-level reporting
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
Build, optimize, and automate financial systems, controls, and workflows
Establish scalable processes to support portfolio and revenue growth
Partner with leadership to support strategic planning and decision-making

Qualifications
Strong analytical & Sequential mindset with exceptional attention to detail
Structured, process-driven thinker with a proactive approach
Proven experience leading accounting and finance functions
Confident communicator with the ability to present to stakeholders
Systems-oriented with a focus on automation and continuous improvement
Ability to operate independently and drive initiatives end-to-end

Expectations

Communication, ownership, and accountability are critical in this role. This position requires someone who can take initiative, operate with minimal oversight, and consistently deliver results at a high level. If you are not comfortable presenting financials, leading initiatives, and being fully accountable for outcomes, this role will not be a fit.

Success Metrics
Fully documented and automated AP, AR, and revenue recognition processes
Financial statements consistently delivered within five business days of period close
Real-time dashboards with actionable variance analysis
A forward-looking budget and rolling forecast built on clean, reliable data
