Job Title: E-commerce Marketplace Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time (Remote)
Working Hours: EST Time Zone

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Marketplace Specialist to support the growth and optimization of our online marketplace presence. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience managing product listings, optimizing content for search visibility, and maintaining accurate product data across multiple platforms.

You will play a key role in ensuring our products are effectively positioned across major marketplaces, including Amazon, Etsy, and eBay, while contributing to overall sales performance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Expansion and Setup
Assist in setting up and optimizing seller accounts on Amazon and Etsy
Ensure all store configurations, policies, and integrations are properly implemented
Research marketplace requirements, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness
Product Listing and Optimization
Create, upload, and manage product listings across Amazon, Etsy, and eBay
Write SEO-optimized product titles, descriptions, and tags to improve search rankings
Optimize product images through cropping, proper naming conventions, and basic enhancements
Conduct keyword research to increase product visibility and discoverability
Inventory and Catalog Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date product data across all platforms
Monitor stock levels and ensure listings reflect real-time availability
Ensure consistency of product information across all marketplaces
Marketing and Growth Support
Implement basic marketing strategies to increase product visibility and engagement
Support promotional campaigns, discounts, and seasonal offers
Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and overall sales performance
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Monitor listing performance, traffic, and sales metrics
Prepare regular reports with actionable insights
Recommend data-driven improvements to enhance performance
Qualifications
Proven experience managing e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Etsy, and/or eBay
Strong understanding of SEO principles for product listings
Experience with keyword research tools and listing optimization techniques
Basic image editing skills (cropping, resizing, naming conventions)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with e-commerce tools and platforms (e.g., Shopify, listing tools, analytics dashboards)
Familiarity with marketplace policies and compliance standards
Background in digital marketing or conversion optimization
