JOB OVERVIEW

Position: UK Accountant
Salary: 6-8 USD per hour , still negotiable
Job Type: Part-time and Full-time

Your main responsibilities will be to:

- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable
- Process invoices, expenses, and payments
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Assist with VAT returns and ensure HMRC compliance
- Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants if needed
- Communicate regarding financial queries
- Provide clear updates and reports
- Ensure timely responses and professional correspondence
- Maintain and improve accounting workflows
- Integrate Xero with relevant third-party tools when needed
- Ensure data accuracy and proper documentation

Must-have qualifications:

- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
- Xero expert (must be Xero certified)
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with UK clients/employers
- Experience with VAT filings and UK tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills with fluent English

Additional, preferred qualifications:

- Passed the CPA Licensure Examination
- Familiarity with tools like Dext, Hubdoc, or similar
