This is a senior full-time remote role. We pay well because we hire well.

ABOUT PROPERTYWORX SYDNEY:

Propertyworx Sydney is a property maintenance and multi-trade renovations company based in Australia. We work with property managers looking after residential portfolios, as well as private clients, across maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
We have a solid team, strong demand, and great clients. But right now, the founder is carrying all of operations — overseeing 30–60 active jobs, keeping the team accountable, answering every question, and solving every problem.
That needs to change. We are ready to bring in the right person to own operations completely, so our founder can step into sales and growth.

THE ROLE:

You will step directly into the founder's current operational role. That means taking full ownership of a busy job pipeline, managing a team of 4–6 people — including office staff, VA's, field tradespeople, and subcontractors — and being the go-to person when anything needs an answer or a fix.

You will work alongside our existing EA, but your scope and responsibility will be significantly broader. This is not a support role. This is a leadership role.

Working hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm AEST, Monday–Friday. Philippine-based candidates are welcome — you must be available during these hours.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:

- The full job pipeline from inquiry to invoice — nothing stalls, nothing gets forgotten
- Day-to-day management of office staff, field tradespeople, subcontractors, and our VA
- Client-facing communication — handling calls and emails from property managers and private clients professionally and promptly
- Holding the team accountable to KPIs and deadlines without micromanaging
- Identifying broken or inconsistent processes and fixing them — we have SOPs, but they are not always followed consistently
- Building and documenting new workflows so the business runs without the founder in the room
- Managing ServiceM8 and Xero — recommending automations and improvements where useful


HOW WE WILL MEASURE YOUR SUCCESS
- Jobs created in ServiceM8 within 1 hour of inquiry
- Weekly KPI report delivered every Monday with issues flagged
- Zero stalled jobs without a documented reason
- Founder spending less than 20% of their time on operations within 90 days


REQUIREMENTS
You must have:

- 5+ years of PROVEN experience in an operations management, or similar leadership role
- Experience in property, trades, real estate, construction, or a comparable field-service industry (preferred but not essential — strong operators from similar industries will be considered)
- Proficiency with job management software — ServiceM8 strongly preferred, or equivalent such as Simpro, Tradify, or ServiceTitan
- Working knowledge of Xero or a comparable accounting platform
- Confident professional English — you will be speaking with Australian property managers, private clients, and tea ---------- mbers regularly
- Available 9:00am–5:30pm AEST, Monday–Friday
- Reliable internet and a professional home office setup
