Role Overview
As a Track & Trace Assistant, you serve as part of the operational backbone, ensuring shipments are accurately monitored, risks are identified early, and critical information reaches the right people at the right time. if you thrive behind the scenes keeping operations running smoothly, this role is an excellent fit.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Updating assigned sections of the Tracking Dashboard with accurate ETAs, locations, mileage, and notes
• Communicating with carriers via email and internal channels to gather updates or resolve missing information
• Verifying that carriers are properly assigned, accepted, and actively tracking in required platforms
• Monitoring multiple communication channels to prevent missed updates
• Proactively flagging delays, risks, and irregularities, and escalating when necessary
• Coordinating with the Booking Team to confirm ETAs for time sensitive shipments
• Ensuring clean shift handoffs through verbal (Zoom) and written updates
• Follows instructions consistently and executes with precision
• Team oriented, coachable, and open to feedback without ego

• Assigned tracking sections are consistently accurate and up to date
• Scheduled updates are sent on time
• Critical shipments are monitored closely and handled with urgency from start to finish
• Carrier tracking and acceptance issues are caught early
• Issues are communicated clearly, both verbally and in writing
• Shift handoffs are smooth, complete, and well documented

Who We’re Looking For
• Has experience in US logistics, freight brokerage, or track & trace
• Familiar with US geography and US logistics trucking operations (a plus)
• Highly organized and comfortable working with multiple spreadsheets, dashboards, and group chats
• Understands urgency and prioritization in a live freight environment
• Communicates clearly and professionally via chat and email
• Can monitor multiple shipments at once without losing accuracy
• Pays strong attention to detail and uses sound judgment when issues arise
• Follows instructions consistently and values clean processes
• Works well with a team and is open to feedback and coaching. Collaborates without resistance or ego

Schedule & Work Setup
• Full Time Remote Role| Direct Hire to US Company
• Current Shift Availability: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 5 PM CDT & Saturday 7 AM - 12 PM CDT
• Other shifts (only if assigned): 3 PM - 1 AM CDT & 11 PM - 9 AM CDT
• Zoom presence (with camera open and unmuted audio) required
• Time tracking software used for accountability and performance support
