PPC Ad Specialist (Google Ads + Local Service Ads)
Company: LIFT Auto Repair Marketing
Location: Remote (Philippines)
Type: Full-time
Salary: $2,000 USD/month
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm MST (US Mountain Time)
About LIFT
LIFT is a US-based digital marketing agency that works exclusively with auto repair shops. We manage Google Ads and Local Service Ads campaigns for 130+ shops across the United States. Our PPC team is small (5 specialists), fully remote, and runs on clear communication and ownership. We move fast, follow structured processes, and take responsibility for our work without being asked.
This is a hands-on execution role with room to grow. We promote based on results and reliability. If you're the kind of person who gets better every month and takes initiative without being prompted, you'll do well here.
The Role
You'll manage a portfolio of 25-35 auto repair shop advertising accounts. You'll be inside Google Ads and LSA dashboards daily: optimizing campaigns, reviewing lead quality through call recordings, managing budgets, adding negative keywords, and building new campaigns from scratch during client onboarding.
You'll work alongside 4 other PPC specialists and report directly to the Head of PPC.
This is NOT a "set it and forget it" position. If you prefer to check in on accounts once a week and file a report, this is not the right fit.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Campaign Management (Daily/Weekly):
- Monitor and adjust campaign budgets to keep spend on pace with monthly targets
- Proactively identify opportunities to increase budgets based on client goals and performance data
- Review search terms and add negatives to eliminate wasted spend (solid grasp of negative keyword strategy and match types is expected)
- Listen to and review call recordings and transcripts for lead quality
- Check conversion tracking and flag/fix any issues
- Run performance health checks on CPA, CTR, CVR, and CPC
- Review and act on Google's optimization recommendations (only the ones that actually help)
- Test new ad copy variations every 60 days
- Manage geographic and ad scheduling targeting based on performance data
- Log all activity for every account you touch
What You'll Deliver
- Campaigns that hit budget pacing targets without overspending or underspending
- Clean, well-structured new account builds using LIFT's onboarding templates (Google Ads + LSA)
- Negative keyword lists that eliminate wasted spend across your entire portfolio
- Proactive flags when something is wrong (tracking issues, billing problems, underperforming campaigns) before it becomes a crisis
- Clear, professional communication in ClickUp tasks and Slack every working day
What This Role Is Not
Be honest with yourself before applying:
- If you need to be told which account to work on next, this isn't for you. You'll manage 25-35 accounts and need to prioritize independently.
- If you go quiet on Slack for hours without notice, this won't work. We don't expect instant replies, but going dark is a problem.
- If you cut corners on checklists because you "already know what to do," you'll create problems for the team. We have structured processes for a reason.
- If you wait for problems to be assigned to you instead of finding them yourself, you won't succeed here.
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 2+ years hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Search required; Display/YouTube a plus)
- Familiarity with Google Local Service Ads (LSA)
- Solid understanding of conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4)
- Comfortable working in Google Sheets (formulas, data manipulation)
- Strong English communication (written). You'll be commenting on tasks, responding to Account Managers, and documenting your work daily.
- Reliable internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps) and a quiet workspace
- Full-time schedule availability
- Self-motivated. You'll work independently most of the day. If you need constant supervision, this isn't the right fit.
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience with call tracking platforms (i.e. WhatConverts, CallRail)
- Experience in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Experience with PPC budget pacing tools (AdPulse or similar)
- Google Ads Search certification
- Understanding of how landing pages impact ad performance, including A/B testing concepts
- Familiarity with ClickUp or similar project management tools
How You Can Succeed Here:
- You take ownership. If something is wrong, you fix it or escalate it. You don't wait to be asked.
- You communicate proactively. If a task is blocked, you say so immediately with what you need to unblock it.
- You follow the process. We have structured templates and checklists for a reason. Cutting steps creates problems downstream.
- You're responsive on Slack during working hours. We don't expect instant replies to everything, but going dark for hours without notice is a problem.
- You manage your time well. You'll have 25-35 accounts in your portfolio. You need to prioritize without being told which one to work on next.
- You spot opportunities, not just problems. If a client's campaigns are performing well and there's room to scale, you flag it.
- You're curious. When something doesn't make sense, you dig in and figure it out before asking someone else to solve it for you.
Tools You'll Use
Google Ads (daily), Google LSA dashboard (daily), ClickUp (task management, daily), Slack (team communication, daily), WhatConverts (call tracking), AdPulse (budget pacing), Google Sheets (reporting, data), Google Tag Manager / GA4 (tracking setup), Bitwarden (credential management)
Compensation & Growth
$2,000 USD/month, paid monthly
Top performers earn expanded responsibilities, higher-value account portfolios, and compensation increases based on results. We're building a team that grows with us.
