JOB OVERVIEW

we run a u.s.-based contractor lead generation business focused on real construction permits and active property owners.

this is not random cold calling and this is not a high-pressure sales role.

you will be calling property owners connected to recent construction permits and finding out:
- whether the project is real and active
- whether they already have a contractor
- whether they are still comparing options
- whether they are open to a quick intro to a licensed contractor

your job is not to close deals.
your job is to qualify interest, book the intro, and log the call correctly.

this role is for someone who:
- sounds calm and natural on the phone
- follows instructions exactly
- can ask short questions without overselling
- can keep notes clean and organized
- can handle rejection without sounding emotional or desperate

if you are the type of caller who talks too much, improvises your own pitch, or pressures people, this is not the role for you.

your responsibilities:
- make outbound calls to permit-based homeowner leads
- use our script exactly as written
- confirm project status and contractor status
- qualify interest and timing
- book callbacks or intros when appropriate
- update crm or spreadsheet notes after every call
- tag lead outcomes correctly
- send a short end-of-day report with numbers and notes
- flag hot leads immediately

what success looks like:
- calm, professional calls
- accurate notes after every conversation
- correct tagging of lead status
- consistent daily activity
- booked intros with real project owners
- no pressure selling

required experience:
- outbound calling, appointment setting, lead qualification, or real estate cold calling
- strong spoken english
- reliable internet and quiet working environment
- able to work during u.s. business hours
- comfortable using a crm, dialer, or spreadsheet tracker
- able to follow a script exactly
- able to keep notes clean and short

bonus points if you have experience with:
- real estate isa work
- homeowner or seller calling
- contractor or home services leads
- dialers like mojo, vici, calltools, readymode, five9, batch dialer
- crms like hubspot, go high level, podio, salesforce
- sms follow-up or voicemail follow-up
- light lead research or data cleanup

growth path:
if you perform well, your role may expand into:
- callback follow-up
- sms follow-up
- voicemail follow-up
- old lead reactivation
- light lead research
- crm cleanup and pipeline support

important:
we do not hire from resumes alone.
we hire based on communication, discipline, note-taking, and how well you follow instructions.

read everything carefully and follow the application steps exactly.

how to apply:

put the word permit as the first word in your application message.

send all of the following in one message:

1. 30-second voice recording
record yourself pretending to call a homeowner about a recent construction project and asking whether they already have a contractor or are still comparing options.

2. short written intro

3. mock call opener
write the exact first 3 lines you would say if you were calling a property owner connected to a recent home construction permit in california.

4. note-taking sample

asked for callback friday at 2 pm
best number is same as caller id

write the exact crm note you would enter.

5. objection handling
reply with one sentence each for:
- we already have a contractor
- how did you get my number
- not interested
- call me next week
- just text me something

6. qualifying vs closing

- callbacks booked
- qualified intros booked
- hot leads

8. tech setup
confirm:
- internet speed
- headset used
- backup internet or power situation if any

- exact u.s. hours you can work

- sms follow-up
- lead research
- crm cleanup
- pipeline tracking
- voicemail follow-up
- reactivating old leads

12. honesty check
tell us whether you used ai to write any part of this application.
be honest. dishonesty is an instant rejection.

calm calls beat pressure every time
