JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Amazon Ads Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of advertising campaigns for a published book.

This role requires both hands-on campaign management and strategic optimization, with a clear goal of achieving and sustaining a minimum 20% ROI while building a scalable system our team can manage internally.

Scope of Work

- Perform a full audit of existing Amazon ad campaigns (structure, keywords, bids, performance)
- Take full ownership of campaign management, including:
> Campaign creation and restructuring
> Daily monitoring and optimization
> Budget allocation and bid adjustments
- Optimize keyword targeting, match types, and search term harvesting
- Continuously test and scale campaigns to improve performance and profitability
- Identify and eliminate wasted ad spend

Performance Goals
- Achieve and maintain a minimum 20% ROI
- Improve key metrics:
- Increase consistent and scalable book sales

Deliverables & Timeline

First 30 Days
- Campaign audit + restructuring plan
- Initial optimizations implemented

30–60 Days
- Performance stabilization
- Early ROI improvements

60–90 Days
- Scalable and optimized campaign structure
- ROI target (20%+) actively achieved or trending

Knowledge Transfer (Required)
- Provide step-by-step guidance for the internal team, including:
> Loom/video walkthroughs or live sessions
> Simple SOPs for campaign management

Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience with Amazon Ads for books (KDP required — non-negotiable)
- Demonstrated success in achieving strong ROI or ACOS targets
- Strong analytical and optimization skills
- Ability to translate strategy into simple, actionable steps
- Experience in coaching or consulting is highly preferred

Engagement: Project-based (with potential for ongoing role based on results)
