JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled Photo Editor to work with our team on a per-photo / per-project basis to start. If things go well and we begin getting a high volume of work together, this position can grow into a full-time role.
We need someone who can confidently edit real estate photography, food photography, and occasionally people/portrait photos.

You should have a strong eye for detail, know how to make images look clean and professional, and understand how to edit for different styles depending on the subject.
What we’re looking for:
Experience editing real estate photos
Experience editing food photos
Able to edit people/portraits when needed
Strong knowledge of Adobe Lightroom
Familiar with tools/software such as Auto HDR and other editing tools
Strong understanding of the fundamentals of photo editing, including:
color correction
white balance
exposure
contrast
masking
natural-looking retouching

Able to keep edits looking clean and natural, not overdone
Can maintain a consistent editing style across a full gallery
Good communication and able to follow editing references
Important:

We are open to editors who use AI tools or other helpful software, but you must understand the fundamentals first. Tools are welcome, but we need someone who knows how to properly edit a photo, not someone who only depends on automatic edits or presets.

How this position works:
We will start by paying per photo or per project
This is a good fit for someone who wants to build a working relationship first
If we end up working well together and the workload increases, there is an opportunity to move into a full-time position
Bonus if you have experience with:
HDR blending
Window pulls for real estate
Sky replacements
Object removal
Food color enhancement and cleanup
Skin tone correction and light retouching
