We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing, fully distributed team. This role is responsible for creating compelling print and digital assets for smartIR and our clients. The ideal candidate has strong command of both Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Powerpoint and Figma, with a keen eye for brand consistency, layout, and visual storytelling.
This position requires someone who is proactive, creatively driven, and experienced working across multiple formats. From investor presentations and social media graphics to brochures, ad creatives, and branded templates. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of design quality and understands that visual communication directly impacts brand perception and business results.
Key Responsibilities
Print Design
Design and produce print-ready assets including brochures, fact sheets, one-pagers, and pitch decks
Translate brand guidelines into polished, professional print collateral
Set up files for commercial print with proper bleeds, crop marks, and color profiles (CMYK)
Maintain consistency in typography, spacing, and layout across all print materials
Prepare and package final files for print vendors
Digital Design
Create digital assets for social media,
Build and maintain reusable component libraries and branded templates in Figma
Design web banners, display ads, and social graphics optimized for various platforms and sizes
Ensure all digital assets follow accessibility and platform-specific best practices
Export and prepare assets in correct formats and resolutions for digital use
Brand & Creative Execution
Work from brand guidelines to produce on-brand assets consistently across all touchpoints
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to concept and execute campaign visuals
Adapt existing creative for multiple formats without losing design integrity
Maintain organized design files, asset libraries, and version control
Participate in creative reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently
Collaboration & Workflow
Work closely with account managers and strategists to deliver client-ready assets on time
Manage multiple concurrent design projects across different clients and deadlines
Communicate proactively about timelines, revisions, and creative blockers
Document design processes and maintain organized file structures in shared drives
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Proficiency
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat)
Advanced working knowledge of Figma including components, auto-layout, and prototyping
Experience designing across both print and digital formats
Ability to effectively build Microsoft Powerpoint templates and convert content into compelling designs
Solid understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
Familiarity with file preparation for both print production and digital publishing
Design Knowledge
Strong understanding of brand identity systems and how to apply them consistently
Experience creating investor-facing materials such as presentations and one-pagers
Knowledge of social media platform specs and best practices for digital creatives
Ability to concept and execute original design work with minimal direction
Organization & Ownership
Ability to manage multiple active design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and file organization habits
Proactive communicator who flags issues before they escalate
Comfortable working independently (with team support of course) in a fully remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of graphic design experience in a marketing, agency, or in-house setting
Portfolio demonstrating both print and digital work across varied industries
Experience with motion graphics or simple animation (After Effects or Figma Smart Animate) is a plus
Familiarity with B2B, investor relations or financial services branding is an asset
