Content Production Specialist
Remote | Full-Time Contractor | Pacific Time Zone
Contract Type: Full-time contractor (independent)
Location: Remote (must be available Pacific Time)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
Start: ASAP
About the Role
We are a marketing automation agency that builds and manages social media content systems for multiple brands simultaneously. Content is generated through our automated pipeline. Your job is to be the human at the end of that pipeline: the person who cleans it up in CapCut, makes sure it meets our quality bar, approves it for publishing, and ensures every piece of content going out reflects current best practices for the platform it is landing on.
This is not a content creation role. You are not writing scripts or shooting video. The system handles that. What you are responsible for is making sure what comes out the other end is polished, on-brand, and genuinely good. You have full approval authority before anything goes live, which means the quality of what our audiences see is directly in your hands.
Beyond cleanup and approval, you will keep a close eye on what is working across our channels. These accounts exist to grow audiences, capture
You will work fully remotely and autonomously across multiple brand identities publishing to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts,
What You Will Do
Content Review and Cleanup
- Receive AI-generated video content, voiceovers, and on-screen text through our production pipeline
- Import assets into CapCut and clean up each piece: timing, audio sync, captions, transitions, and visual consistency
- Apply brand templates and ensure every output matches the visual identity of the brand it belongs to
- Review and finalize static image posts and carousel content for accuracy, design consistency, and platform fit
- Review and format story content for vertical placement and engagement
- Export all content in the correct formats and aspect ratios for each platform
Quality Control and Approval
- Serve as the final human checkpoint before content goes live. If it does not meet the bar, it does not go out.
- Evaluate each piece against current platform best practices for format, length, hook quality, and caption structure
- Check that captions, hashtags, calls to action, and any links are correctly applied and aligned with the content goal
- Flag any content that does not perform its function, whether that is growing the audience, capturing an
Scheduling and Publishing
- Upload approved content into GoHighLevel Social Planner and confirm all scheduling details before sign-off
- Verify platform-specific metadata, captions, and posting times are correctly set for each piece
- Maintain a clean, up-to-date content queue across all brand accounts
Performance Monitoring and Best Practices
- Monitor automated performance reporting across all channels and flag anything that warrants attention
- Stay actively current on what is working across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts,
- Identify shifts in platform algorithms, trending formats, or audience behavior and surface recommendations to the team
- Apply best practice knowledge to your review process so that every piece going out reflects what is actually performing right now, not six months ago
Workflow Management
- Review content briefs and asset notes in Airtable before beginning each production batch
- Update content record statuses as work moves through the pipeline
- Flag missing assets, unclear briefs, or production issues early rather than after the fact
What We're Looking For
Required Skills and Experience
- Genuine, up-to-date knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts,
- Strong understanding of hooks, scroll-stopping triggers, and what makes short-form video actually work
- Awareness of current trends, audio, and formats across platforms, and the ability to apply that awareness as a quality filter
- Understanding of how social content serves business goals: audience growth,
- Skilled in CapCut with hands-on experience applying templates, syncing audio, adding captions, and editing short-form video at production speed
-Prior experience with HeyGen and Eleven Labs
- Experience reviewing and finalizing static image posts and carousel content, not just video
- Comfortable working within AI-assisted content workflows. You are not building the system. You are the quality layer on top of it.
- Comfortable using Airtable as a workflow management tool
- Working knowledge of GoHighLevel (GHL), including the Social Planner for scheduling and basic CRM navigation
- High attention to detail across audio quality, visual consistency, caption accuracy, and brand alignment
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
- Available full-time during Pacific Time zone hours
Work Style
- Self-directed. You manage your own queue and your own time without needing to be told what is next.
- Proactive. You surface issues and flag concerns before they become problems.
- Consistent. You hit your daily output targets and show up reliably.
- Detail-oriented. You treat every export with the same care regardless of volume.
- Adaptable. Platforms change, workflows evolve, and priorities shift. You move with them.
- Growth-minded. You care whether the content actually works, not just whether it went out.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 30 days, you know each brand identity, understand the pipeline, and are approving and scheduling content independently with minimal revision requests.
At 60 days, you are running a clean, consistent content queue across all brand accounts, your quality pass rate is high, and you are already surfacing useful observations from performance monitoring.
At 90 days, you are a fully trusted checkpoint in the production system. Content going out under your approval is polished, platform-appropriate, and doing its job: growing audiences, capturing
