THE ROLE
We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator who can produce both static graphics and short-form video content for Instagram,
This is not a "post and ghost" role. We want someone who genuinely understands visual storytelling, thinks critically about what makes content perform, and brings creative ideas to the table — not just executes templates.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Design static social media graphics (posts, stories, carousels) aligned to brand guidelines
Edit short-form video content for Reels, TikTok, and
Research competitor brands in the tree care and landscaping industry and analyze what's working in their content strategy
Propose original post ideas based on seasonal timing, trending formats, and our brand pillars
Prepare a regular content calendar with captions and post assets ready for team review
Maintain consistency in logo placement, color palette, fonts, and tone across all posts
Make edits based on feedback quickly and accurately
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design tools
Video editing experience — CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Ability to add captions/subtitles, transitions, text overlays, and audio to short-form videos
Strong written English — you will write or refine social media captions
Experience creating content for a brand's social media accounts (not just a personal page)
Ability to research competing brands and write a brief analysis of their content strategy
Exceptional attention to detail — incorrect spelling, off-brand colors, or cropped logos are dealbreakers
Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines consistently
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with home services, landscaping, or green industry brands
Familiarity with the U.S. seasonal calendar and northeastern climate
Experience with scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite)
Motion graphics or animated post experience
