Sales & Admin Coordinator — Sydney Boat Hire Agency (Part-Time trial ? Full-Time)

$8 USD/hr + Uncapped Performance Bonus | 9am-5pm AEST (7am-3pm PHT)

About Us
We are a boat charter agency in Sydney. We manage 160+ boats and help customers book vessels for birthdays, corporate events, weddings, and private cruises. No boat experience needed — we teach the product. You bring the sales ability.

We have an AI-powered dashboard that helps with pricing, recommendations etc... Your job is to be the expert on top of that — understand what customers need, recommend the right options, and close the booking.

Who You Are

You're the kind of person who proactively researches and learns. When a customer asks about something you've never heard of, you research it and come back sounding like you've done it a hundred times. You don't wait to be told what to do — you see what needs doing and you do it.

You're motivated by earning, not just by a salary. When you see an uncapped commission, you get excited about the earning opportunity.

You care about the details — the right name, the right price, the right date, the needs of the client. Because one mistake in a $15,000 booking is a very expensive mistake.

What You'll Do

Handle inbound customer enquiries via email and close bookings (75% of the role)
Occasionally call customers or boat operators — maybe 4-5 calls per day, not a phone-heavy role
Research unfamiliar requests using Google, ChatGPT, or whatever tools you need
Website updates, social media, coordinating with boat operators, keeping records up to date (25%)
Build relationships with boat operators — you'll be their main point of contact for bookings, availability, and
customer requirements

Sales experience — you've sold something before and enjoyed it

Fast — our best performers reply within minutes, not hours
Reliable — you show up on time, every time

Compensation

"$8 USD/hr base plus commissions on your bookings. Performance bonus that scales the more you sell — the harder you work, the higher the rate. Quiet months add a few hundred on top of base. Strong months add $500-1,000+. Our best months? $2,000+ in bonus. No cap. Top performers earn $2,500-3,500+ USD/month total.
