JOB OVERVIEW

About Us
We run two distinct product lines from Australia. The first is an education and personal development brand for young entrepreneurs. The second is a collection of published books (fiction and non-fiction). Both sell direct to consumer through Shopify and Woocommerce, with digital delivery via our own platforms.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes paid digital marketing. Someone who can look at a campaign, spot what is underperforming, and fix it. Someone who gets excited about lowering cost per acquisition and finding new angles that convert.

What This Role Is
This is a marketing role. Your primary focus will be planning, building, and optimising paid ad campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads. You will also support organic social content, but the core of this role is performance marketing.

You will be responsible for:
- setting up google and google analytics accounts
- Building and managing Meta ad campaigns (awareness, traffic, conversion)
- Building and managing Google Ads campaigns (search, display, shopping where relevant)
- Monitoring and reporting on key metrics: CAC, ROAS, CTR, CPC, conversion rates
- Testing creative angles, audiences, and copy variations
- Recommending budget allocation based on performance data
- Creating simple ad creative (static images, carousel layouts, short copy) using Figma
- Supporting social media content as a secondary responsibility (scheduling, community replies, simple posts)

What This Role Is Not
This is not a general virtual assistant position. We are not looking for someone to manage inboxes, book travel, or handle admin tasks. If your experience is primarily in general VA work, this role will not be the right fit.

About You
- You have hands-on experience running Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns, with real results to show for it
- You understand customer acquisition cost, lifetime value, and how to optimise spend against these metrics
- You can set up tracking (Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, conversion events) and troubleshoot when data looks wrong
- You are comfortable working independently, making recommendations, and flagging issues early
- You have a portfolio or case studies showing campaigns you have managed and the results you achieved

Portfolio is required. Please include screenshots, reports, or a document showing campaigns you have worked on, the strategy behind them, and measurable outcomes (ROAS, CAC reduction, conversion improvements, audience growth). Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify and Woocommerce stores or direct-to-consumer brands
- Familiarity with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar)
- Basic video editing for short-form ad creative (Reels, Stories)
- Experience marketing books, courses, or education products

The Details
- Part-time (approximately 15 hours per week to start, with room to grow)
- Long-term engagement preferred

You will work directly with the founder
Compensation discussed during interview, based on experience

How to Apply
Send a short message introducing yourself. Include:
- A link to your portfolio or attached case studies showing real campaign results
- Which platforms you have the most experience with (Meta, Google, or both)
- One example of a campaign you improved and what you changed to get better results

We read every application. If your experience aligns, we will be in touch quickly.
