JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and maintain deployed applications in a cloud-based environment. This role is ideal for someone who is highly experienced in AWS infrastructure, comfortable working in Linux environments, and proficient in modern JavaScript technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage, monitor, and maintain applications deployed on AWS
Configure and optimize cloud infrastructure (Lightsail, EC2)
Handle server management, deployments, and troubleshooting in Linux environments
Work closely with developers to support Node.js and TypeScript-based applications
Manage and maintain databases (PostgreSQL and SQLite)
Ensure system performance, security, and scalability
Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines where applicable
Perform regular system updates, backups, and monitoring

Requirements:
Strong experience with AWS (Lightsail, EC2)
Advanced knowledge of Linux systems and server management
Experience with Node.js and TypeScript applications
Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQLite
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
Must be working on macOS (development environment requirement)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work independently

Nice to Have:
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) is a plus
