JOB OVERVIEW

I own a small digital marketing agency in the United States and am looking for a copywriter. We work with mainly home service businesses and help them grow through better websites, ads, SEO and direct mail. We’re looking for a copywriter who can write high-converting homepage and service page content. You will work alongside an SEO manager and a website developer. We're a cool agency to work with and have a strong team of A+ players. Many of our contractors have been with us for a very long time.

We're looking for someone who can create strong, clear, persuasive writing and who can leverage AI to be more efficient but where the final output will pass AI detection tests. We're looking for near-native English writing skills with impeccable grammar and style.

This role is part time and will be on an as-needed basis.

Please provide the following:

1. Examples of your work, ideally referencing websites where you have created the copy. If you provide examples of websites please specify which content on the website you wrote.

2. Do you have any experience writing for the home services (landscaping, roofing, remodeling) niche? If so can you provide some examples? This isn't required but will be helpful.

3. What would you charge for an 800 word service page? Do you charge by hour or by the word?

4. How are you using AI in your process (please be detailed here) and how are you making it not sound like it was written by AI?

5. What is your typical turnaround time?

6. Are you currently employed? Or are you just doing freelancing work?
