JOB OVERVIEW

I run a YouTube channel, Journey Through History, focused on cinematic storytelling about world history, mythology, and ancient civilization. With a revamp of the channel, I am aiming to be similar in style to channels like Para Bellum, Kings and Generals, and Epic History.

Due to time constraints, I’m no longer able to manage the full production process myself, but I remain deeply passionate about the channel and its long-term vision. I’m looking for a Video Editor with motion design capability to produce high-quality, engaging history videos in a documentary style.

Role Overview
You will take voiceover, storyboard, and assets and turn them into a polished, YouTube-ready video, combining editing with motion graphics.

Responsibilities
Full video editing (20–40 minute videos)

Integrate:
Historical images and footage
Maps and illustrations
Motion graphics and transitions

Add:
Light animation
Sound design and music
Maintain pacing aligned with storytelling style of top history channels

Deliverables
Fully edited final video
Optional reusable templates for consistency
