About us
We run a YouTube entertainment business across multiple channels. We have previously built a YouTube channel to over 300,000 subscribers, and we are now building new channels from scratch.
We create highly engaging entertainment content and are looking for someone with strong, well-rounded YouTube experience who can support our CEO with the many different kinds of work that touch YouTube.
How you’ll work with us
The CEO leads the business. This role is not to run every part of the company alone, and not to personally own every single step of every video unless that’s what we agree together.
We need someone who can assist the CEO with research, ideation, and judgment, bounce ideas, pressure-test concepts, and help us think through how to create content that is worthy of breaking out—including what strong performance and “viral potential” actually mean for our niches and channels.
You should understand YouTube from start to finish: how discovery and packaging work, what makes ideas strong or weak, and how to think about consistent, high-quality entertainment across multiple channels.
You should be comfortable supporting both strategy and practical creation (e.g. research, outlines, packaging feedback), while recognizing the CEO makes the final calls.
What we’re looking for (in order of importance)
Deep YouTube expertise — Real experience across the full scope of YouTube work: research, content and packaging thinking, and how videos are planned and improved—not only one narrow task.
Ability to work with a founder/CEO — Clear communication, fast thinking, honest feedback, and real collaboration.
Bonus (valued, not required): Video editing and graphic design — we give extra consideration to candidates who can also deliver hands-on editing or visuals, but the core hire is YouTube judgment and expertise.
Requirements
Demonstrable YouTube experience — show channels, videos, or projects where you’ve had a real impact, and what you did.
Portfolio / links required — applications without relevant examples will not be considered.
Strong written English; short video calls when needed.
Reliable internet and professional communication.
Compensation
Negotiable — based on experience, expertise, and scope of responsibility (to be discussed with shortlisted candidates).
Hiring process
We will review applications, conduct interviews, and may invite finalists to a small paid test (brief and fair) so we can see how you think and work with us.
