JOB OVERVIEW

About the Role

We’re looking for a creative, detail-driven Video Editor who transforms cluttered, real-life spaces into clean, visually compelling, market-ready homes.

This role combines home listing photo editing with AI-powered video creation, turning messy interiors into polished, aspirational spaces through image cleanup, color grading, virtual staging, and short-form videos with voiceovers.

Key Responsibilities
1. Photograph Editing (Home Listings)
• Use AI tools to remove clutter and clean up rooms
• Deliver high-resolution, listing-ready images
• Apply color grading, lighting, and exposure corrections
• Ensure images look bright, spacious, and premium
• Maintain consistent quality across image sets

2. Video Editing (Short & Long-Form Content)
• Review and cull footage
• Select strong images and use AI to clean, enhance, and prepare (clutter removal, lighting, composition)
• Convert images into moving footage (parallax, zoom, motion)
• Apply AI virtual staging and animate furniture pop-ups
• Combine footage + images into before ? after transformation videos
• Craft voiceover-led intros and outros
• Add captions, motion graphics, sound design, and transitions

Short-Form (Reels / TikTok / Shorts)
• 60–90 seconds per video
• Strong hooks, pacing, and storytelling
• Structure: hook ? transformation ? reveal ? payoff

Long-Form (YouTube / Walkthroughs)
• 10–15 minutes per video
• More detailed walkthrough with smoother pacing and narrative flow

Deliverables
• ~16 reel / videos + photo sets per month (4 sets per week)

Turnaround Time:
• Short-form (60–90s): 1–2 days per video
• Long-form (10–15 min): 2–4 days per video
+ Deliver photos alongside videos when required

Photo Output Guide:
• Half day: 12–15 photos (2–3 rooms + 1–2 exteriors)
• Full day: 25–30 photos (5–6 rooms + 3–4 exteriors)

What We’re Looking For
• 2–5 years in video + photo editing (real estate/interiors preferred)
• Strong in home listing photo editing (lighting, color, cleanup)
• Proven AI clutter removal & virtual staging experience
• Able to create engaging transformation videos with strong pacing
• Proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom
• Hands-on with AI tools for image and video transformation
• Reliable, responsive, and able to meet fast timelines
