This is a product-first role. Success in this position comes from understanding customer needs, translating business goals into product requirements, and driving execution across cross-functional teams. While a technical background is beneficial, you are not expected to be a software engineer. You should, however, be comfortable discussing technical concepts, understanding development constraints, and collaborating effectively with engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and execute the product roadmap aligned with company objectives.
Identify customer pain points and transform them into product opportunities.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user discovery.
Make data-driven product decisions using customer feedback and analytics.
Product Management
Own and prioritize the product backlog in ClickUp.
Write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Balance business priorities, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
Define product success metrics and monitor feature performance.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Sales, and Leadership.
Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product reviews.
Remove blockers and ensure projects remain on schedule.
Clearly communicate product priorities, timelines, and trade-offs.
Product Delivery
Ensure features meet customer expectations before release.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Collaborate with engineering and QA to deliver high-quality products.
Continuously iterate on products based on customer feedback and business goals.
Requirements
Product experience
3+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in SaaS.
Proven experience managing products from concept through launch.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience writing PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working with remote, cross-functional teams.
Experience using project management tools such as ClickUp.
Technical & testing skills
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ability to communicate effectively with software engineers.
Familiarity with APIs, databases, cloud applications, and modern software architecture.
Able to understand technical trade-offs and prioritize product decisions accordingly.
Nice to Have
Previous software engineering or technical background.
Basic coding experience (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
Experience with AI-powered products.
Experience with B2B SaaS products.
Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
