We are looking for a Technical Grant Writer to work with our SR&ED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) team.
You are responsible for securing funding by researching, writing, and submitting comprehensive grant proposals. This role supports innovation and growth by obtaining financial support through SR&ED and other grant opportunities, ensuring that the clients' projects and R&D initiatives receive the necessary funding to succeed.
Key responsibilities:-
1. Technical Writing & Proposal Development: Draft, edit, and submit high-quality proposals. Convert complex scientific, clinical, or technical concepts into persuasive narratives.
2. Grant Research & Strategy: Identify and prioritize potential funding opportunities from federal, state, and private foundation sources. Maintain an up-to-date calendar of deadlines.
3. Collaboration with Experts: Work closely with internal team, clients (scientists, engineers etc) and subject matter experts to understand project needs, methodologies, and deliverables.
4. Reporting & Follow-up: Be on top of project deadlines and reportings
Key Requirements:-
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Health
2. Min. 2 years of experience in technical grant writing with proven successful records.
3. Ability to interpret and synthesize complex information (e.g., data analysis, scientific literature).
4. Professional command of the English language
5. Strong analytical, editing, and persuasive writing skills and presentation skills
6. Comfortable in doing presentations and dealing with C-level Executives and Government Bodies
7. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Docs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), grant management software, task manager software, and CRM databases
