We are seeking (updated April 4 '26) a detail-oriented and experienced U.S. Property Management Accountant to manage bookkeeping and financials for multiple real estate clients.
Our clients include investors and operators involved in:
• Fix & flips
• Rental portfolios
• Property management companies
• Airbnb/VRBO/Booking/com
???? Responsibilities
• Manage bookkeeping for multiple U.S.-based real estate clients
• Record and reconcile transactions (bank, credit card, loan accounts)
• Track income and expenses by property/project
• Maintain clean and accurate financial statements
• Handle month-end close processes
• Work with clients on:
• Fix & flip project tracking
• Rental income and expense categorization
• Property-level reporting
• Identify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
• Communicate with clients regarding financials and missing information
???? Real Estate-Specific Tasks
• Track cost basis and expenses for fix & flip projects
• Allocate expenses per property
• Monitor rental income and operating expenses
• Understand basic property management workflows
• Prepare reports useful for investors and owners
? Requirements
• Experience with U.S. bookkeeping/accounting
• Experience in real estate or property management accounting
• Strong understanding of:
• Chart of accounts for real estate
• Property-level tracking
• Cash vs accrual (preferred)
• Proficiency in:
• QuickBooks Online
• Excel / Google Sheets
• Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Clear written and verbal communication
