JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview

We are a fast-growing landscaping and snow removal company based in Rochester, NY. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented specialist to help build and grow our online presence.

This role is focused on execution, not high-level strategy. You will be responsible for:

Building a new website from scratch

Creating SEO service pages

Managing and optimizing Google Ads campaigns

You will be given clear direction, target services, and locations to focus on.

Primary Responsibilities
???? Website Creation (Initial Phase)

Build a clean, professional website (WordPress or similar)

Create core pages:

Home

Service pages

Service area pages

Contact page

Ensure site is mobile-friendly and fast

Set up basic on-page SEO structure

???? SEO & Content

Create 600–1,000 word service pages targeting local keywords
(examples: “Lawn Care Greece NY”, “Snow Plowing Hilton NY”)

Structure content with proper SEO formatting (H1, H2, internal links)

Write clear, natural, high-quality English content

Add title tags and meta descriptions

Post updates to Google Business Profile

Build and manage local citations

???? Google Ads (Required Experience)

Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns for local services

Keyword research and targeting (local intent keywords)

Write ad copy and create extensions

Monitor and optimize campaigns for calls and leads

Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting based on performance

Requirements (Important)

Proven experience with SEO for home service businesses

Must provide verifiable links to live websites or pages you have worked on

Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns (lead generation)

Experience building or setting up websites (WordPress or similar)

Strong English writing skills (natural and professional)

Understanding of local SEO (Google Business Profile, map rankings)

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience working with U.S.-based service businesses

Familiar with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
