JOB OVERVIEW

Hiring: Video Editing VA for Vlog Content, Shorts, and Thumbnails
I’m looking for a Video Editing VA to help manage a weekly content pipeline centered around vlog-style videos.
We produce 4 YouTube videos per week, each around 5–7 minutes long, and need someone who can primarily clip long-form content into short-form, create high-quality thumbnails, and handle minor editing on the vlog videos themselves.
This is not a heavy cinematic editing role. The content is more personality-driven and natural, so the main skill is being able to identify strong ---------- nts, shape them into engaging short-form clips, and make the content feel native to each platform.
Responsibilities:
Create high-quality YouTube thumbnails

Clip each weekly YouTube video into short-form content for Instagram Reels and TikTok

Produce separate YouTube Shorts based on direction/material provided by me

Make minor edits to vlog-style long-form videos

Apply feedback and revise edits as needed

Weekly workflow:
I review all 4 YouTube videos for the week

I rank them from strongest to weakest and give feedback

You revise accordingly, while also working on the next batch of content

This will likely be an ongoing, near full-time role for the right person.
