Assistant Property Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pacific Time, with a 1-hour break
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Property Manager to support the management of a diverse real estate portfolio, including office, retail, and residential properties. This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day property operations, coordinating with tenants and vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient communication across stakeholders. The ideal candidate has hands-on property management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day management of commercial (office and retail) and residential properties
Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and contractors for maintenance requests and issue resolution
Support lease administration, including tracking renewals, expirations, and key dates
Maintain accurate property records, reports, and documentation
Handle tenant and vendor communications via
Assist with rent tracking, invoicing, and basic financial coordination
Monitor and follow up on maintenance and service requests to ensure completion
Support reporting and portfolio updates for property performance
Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in property management or a related role
Experience supporting commercial properties (office/retail) is highly preferred
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Experience with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus
