ABOUT US

UK direct-to-consumer supplements brand. 35+ natural products (collagen, biotin, menopause support, creatine, probiotics). Over 350,000 customers. Small remote-first team. Real established company, real revenue. We will share the brand name with shortlisted candidates.

THE ROLE

You will be our in-house creative strategist, turning customer research into ad concepts, scripts, copy, and creative briefs that drive sales. You will research what our customers care about, why they buy, and what language they use, then turn that into creative that performs across Meta ads, email, and landing pages.

This is a strategy and copywriting role, not a design or video editing role.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Research customers and competitors: mine reviews, surveys, support tickets, competitor ads, Reddit, forums, and social comments to find pain points, desires, objections, and the exact language customers use.
- Develop ad angles, hooks, and concepts for Meta ads. Build a structured testing pipeline with fresh concepts weekly.
- Write scripts for UGC video ads (problem-solution, testimonial, listicle, myth-busting, before/after), copy for static and carousel ads, email campaigns, and landing pages.
- Write creative briefs for UGC creators and designers, specifying the hook, angle, talking points, tone, format, and visual direction.
- Analyse ad performance (CTR, hook rate, CPA, ROAS) to identify what is working and what to test next. You are not the media buyer, but you must be comfortable using data to guide creative decisions.
- Research competitor ads via Meta Ad Library and TikTok Creative Centre. Spot trends and opportunities.
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Veo3, Gemini daily as part of your creative workflow for copywriting, research, and generating visual/video concepts.
- Write engaging and high converting copy for landing pages, website and email campaigns as required.

REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE)

- 1-3+ years as a creative strategist or direct-response copywriter for a DTC/e-commerce brand or agency
- Proven results: you can talk about specific ads you wrote and the CTR, CPA, or ROAS impact they had
- Experience conducting your own customer research and turning it into ad angles, not just writing copy from someone else's brief
- Strong direct-response copywriting across video scripts, static ads, email, and landing pages
- Experience writing creative briefs for UGC creators or designers
- Active daily use of AI tools: like Claude, Chat GPT or Gemini for copy and research, and AI image/video tools (Veo3, Midjourney or similar).
- Strong written English (you will write customer-facing copy for a UK audience daily)
- Organised and self-directed, able to manage a weekly creative output pipeline without being chased
- Reliable internet and quiet workspace

NICE-TO-HAVE

- Health, beauty, wellness, or supplements industry experience
- Experience with Klaviyo or similar email platform
- Experience writing for a female 30-55 audience
- Shopify or landing page builder experience (Replo, Gem Pages, or similar)

3. Describe your customer research process. When you need to develop new ad angles for a product, where do you look and what do you do?
4. Which AI tools do you use daily and how do you use them in your creative workflow? Give specific examples.
5. Share 1-2 examples of ad copy, scripts, or creative briefs you have written (Google Drive or portfolio link). If you cannot share client work, describe a specific concept you developed and what results it achieved.

Also include your expected monthly salary (USD) and availability to start.
