Part-Time Freelance Meta Ads Manager & Growth Strategist
About Us
We’re The Thriving Couple. We help high-performing couples build a simple, structured relationship operating system so their marriage does not get crushed by business, kids, and life.
Our work sits at the intersection of relationships, performance, leadership, and personal growth. We are building a premium offer and looking for the right paid media partner to help us create a consistent inbound pipeline through Meta ads.
This is not a plug-and-play ecommerce brand. It is a more nuanced sale that often involves two decision-makers, not one. One partner may raise their hand first, but both often need to buy in. That makes messaging, targeting, and creative testing especially important.
The Role
We are looking for a part-time freelance Meta ads partner to help us build our paid acquisition channel from scratch.
This person will do more than manage campaigns. We want someone who is curious, thoughtful, and hands-on. Someone who wants to understand the offer, test angles, learn quickly, and help shape a funnel that works.
Our current desired path is:
Meta ads ? free workshop or pre-qualifying call ? 6-month engagement
You should be comfortable working in ambiguity, helping us test assumptions, and giving clear recommendations based on what the data says.
What You’ll Do:
Build and manage Meta ad campaigns from the ground up
Help shape early paid traffic strategy, testing plan, and campaign structure
Develop and test hooks, angles, audiences, and creative concepts
Work with us to improve the path from ad click to workshop registration or pre-qualifying call
Identify what is and is not working across creative, targeting, landing pages, and offer positioning
Recommend new testing ideas and approaches based on performance and market feedback
Track results and communicate learnings clearly
Help us move from early testing to a repeatable inbound engine
What We’re Looking For:
We are not looking for someone who only knows how to optimize an already-working account.
We are looking for someone who can help us find what works.
Ideal candidates will have:
Experience running Meta ads for coaching, education, service, consulting, or other trust-based offers
Strong thinking around testing, messaging, and offer-market fit
Comfort working with early-stage brands that are still refining positioning and funnel flow
Ability to translate performance into clear business recommendations
Strong communication and project management
Willingness to be proactive, not just reactive
Curiosity about human behavior, buying psychology, and what makes people convert
Bonus If You Have Experience With
Webinar or workshop funnels
High-ticket or multi-step conversion funnels
Offers where multiple stakeholders influence the purchase
Founder-led brands
Creative strategy and direct response copy
Lead quality optimization, not just lead volume
What Success Looks Like
In the early stage, success is not just lower CPA.
Success looks like:
clear testing roadmap
fast learning on which messages resonate
improving lead quality
stronger conversion path into workshops and calls
better understanding of how to market to couples and how to handle a two-person buying decision
a growing paid channel that becomes more predictable over time

How to Apply
If interested, please send:
A short note on how you would approach a Meta ads funnel for an early-stage brand like this
Relevant experience with coaching, education, service, or high-ticket offers
An example of how you test hooks, audiences, or creative before scaling
Your typical working style, communication cadence, and reporting approach
Your pricing structure or range
A Question We’d Love You to Answer
If you were starting from zero with an offer like ours, how would you think about testing messaging and creative for a market where one partner may be interested first, but both often need to buy in?
Thanks,
James Lockwood
