JOB OVERVIEW

Job Overview
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor and channel Manager to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for editing high-quality, engaging videos and managing the entire content workflow on the channel.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
Edit long-form and short-form YouTube content (B-roll, motion graphics, subtitles, pacing, transitions, etc.)
Maintain brand style and storytelling consistency
Repurpose long videos into short-form content (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels
Channel Management & Project Oversight
Manage the YouTube content calendar and help with publishing schedule
Organize and track project timelines using project management tools
Coordinate with writers, designers, and content creator as needed
Upload videos with proper SEO and optimization (titles, tags, descriptions etc.)

Creative Strategy Support
Help brainstorm and pitch fresh video ideas aligned with the channel's niche
Research competitors, trends, and top-performing formats in the niche
Collaborate on writing hooks and titles that drive high CTRs
Thumbnail Support
Design scroll-stopping thumbnails or work with a designer to execute them
Analyze thumbnail performance and A/B test concepts for optimization

Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience editing YouTube videos (portfolio required)
Excellent communication skills (clear, professional, and empathetic).
Strong problem-solving ability—quickly diagnose client challenges and offer solutions.
Tech-savvy & adaptable—comfortable learning new tools like Zoom, ---------- , and project management apps.
Highly organized—able to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently.
Self-motivated—works well independently in a remote setting.
Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms, trends, and best practices
Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
Graphic design experience (Photoshop, Canva, etc.) for YT Thumbnail Creation
YouTube knowledge (a BIG plus!)—experience managing a YouTube channel or understanding key growth tactics.
