JOB OVERVIEW

Marriage Helper is a marriage crisis education company based in Tennessee. We help thousands of couples and individuals save their marriages each year through intensive workshops, coaching, and online programs. We’re looking for a skilled WordPress specialist to support our marketing team with website implementation, technical QA, and site performance.

This is a remote contract role. All strategy and creative decisions are made upstream — your job is accurate implementation and catching what’s broken before it costs us.

What You’ll Do

WordPress & Elementor Implementation

- Implement AI-generated HTML and code into WordPress pages using Elementor HTML widgets — accurately and without modifying the code
- Build and edit pages in Elementor Pro using provided designs and copy
- Publish and format blog posts with correct headings, meta descriptions, tags, categories, and internal links
- Update CTAs, copy, images, and button links across the site as directed
- QA every page implementation on desktop and mobile before marking complete

Technical QA & Site Health

- Identify and flag JavaScript errors, broken links, and non-functioning buttons or forms
- Verify that website forms are correctly connected to GoHighLevel — confirm contacts are being created, tags are populating, and lead sources are recording correctly
- Test form submissions and trace data through to the CRM to confirm nothing is falling through
- Monitor and flag page speed issues, dead clicks, and broken elements
- Communicate findings clearly so fixes can be deployed quickly

WordPress Site Optimization

- Comfortable across all WordPress features: plugins, menus, redirects, user roles, media library, page settings
- Image optimization for web (WebP format preferred)
- Basic plugin management — installing, updating, and troubleshooting conflicts
- Support site speed improvements: image compression, caching plugin configuration, eliminating unnecessary scripts
- Support SEO implementation: meta titles, descriptions, schema markup, and internal linking as directed

- Make creative or strategic decisions
- Write copy or marketing content
- Architect CRM automations

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of hands-on WordPress experience across all core features
- Strong Elementor Pro experience — specifically placing and troubleshooting HTML widgets without breaking layouts
- Comfortable reading and placing AI-generated HTML and CSS code accurately and QA-ing the result
- Experience with GoHighLevel at a form and contact level — confirming data is flowing correctly, not building automations
- Strong attention to detail — you find your own errors before flagging done
- Clear written English communication
- Reliable internet with availability overlap during US Central Time
- Familiarity with Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity is a plus
- Basic understanding of page speed factors and Core Web Vitals is a plus
