OVERVIEW:
At Blue Zone Pets, we believe the single biggest lever you have over your dog's health is what you put in their bowl. We're a pet nutrition brand built around one mission: their longest life, back in your hands. Our food is 80% real meat, dried below 40°C to lock in maximum nutrients, with zero fillers, zero additives — just ingredients you can actually read and trust. We're building a brand that dog owners genuinely believe in, backed by a 4.6 Trustpilot rating and a growing community of owners who've seen the difference real nutrition makes. We're still early, moving fast, and looking for people who want to build something that matters. Join us as a Graphic Designer and help us become the standard for how dogs should be fed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Design high-performing creatives, static ads, and branded assets that are on-brand and built to convert — owning the visual output from concept to final file.
2. Use AI generation tools to produce raw assets, then refine them with enhancement tools (Magnific AI, Topaz, Photoshop AI) until quality is indistinguishable from a professional shoot.
3. Proactively pitch new content ideas, visual formats, and workflow improvements — you don't wait for briefs, you spot opportunities and ship.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. A sharp-eyed designer with deep command of layout, typography, colour, and composition — highly proficient in Figma (primary) and Adobe Creative Suite.
2. Skilled at AI-assisted design: you use generative tools to create base assets and enhancement tools to push them to production quality. One render is never your final output.
3. Self-managing, organised, and deadline-driven — you don't need hand-holding. You see what needs doing and do it.
4. A quick learner who adapts fast to new tools and workflows; experience with Notion for project management, WhatsApp for daily communication, and openness to tools like Gather for virtual collaboration as we scale.
5. Genuinely excited about what we're building at Blue Zone — you care about quality, you care about pets, and you want to be part of a brand that's changing how people think about dog nutrition.

COMPENSATION:
- Part-time position. Monthly creative sprints
- Competitive rate based on experience and qualifications. Per project basis, $15 per project ? $450 p/m
