JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an AI-First Performance Graphic Designer to own the creation of high-converting static ads for our e-commerce clients.

In this role, AI is a core part of your workflow — not a novelty. You’ll use it to generate bespoke assets, enhance product photography, and rapidly iterate on winning concepts. You should be able to move from a strategic brief to a polished, on-brand ad quickly and consistently.

We’re a high-output, performance-minded team that moves fast, tests constantly, and improves through iteration. If you’re the type of designer who loves shipping work, learning what wins, and leveling up quickly — you’ll thrive here.

This role starts part-time, but the goal is to ramp quickly. For the right person, this can turn into a long-term, high-trust position with meaningful growth and very strong compensation.

Schedule

Initial Phase: 20 hours/week (Part-time)
Growth Phase: Ramp to 40 hours/week (Full-time) as workload and account ownership increase
(Typical ramp timeline: 4–8 weeks depending on performance and volume.)

Key Responsibilities

1) AI Asset Generation & Engineering
Prompt Mastery: Use tools like Midjourney, DALL·E, and/or Adobe Firefly to generate high-quality product backgrounds, lifestyle environments, and visual elements that look premium and realistic.
AI Retouching & Expansion: Use AI tools (Generative Fill, outpainting, upscaling tools like Magnific, etc.) to:
enhance low-resolution product imagery
remove unwanted objects
expand backgrounds naturally
generate clean lifestyle placements
Style & Persona Variation: Create multiple “worlds” or personas for the same product (ex: minimal luxury vs. sporty vs. cozy home) to test what resonates with different customer segments.

2) High-Performance Ad Design
Direct Response Static Ads: Design scroll-stopping paid social statics (Meta/TikTok) including:
Benefit-led product statics
UGC overlay style ads
“Us vs. Them” comparisons
Feature/ingredient callouts
Press-style listicles and credibility layouts
Brand Integrity: Ensure AI-generated imagery matches each client’s brand identity — color palette, typography, composition, tone, and overall aesthetic.
Multi-Channel Assets: Create supporting visual assets when needed (landing pages, email, Pinterest, etc.).
Typography & Layout Excellence: Use strong hierarchy, spacing, contrast, and clarity so the ad is instantly skimmable and drives toward a clear CTA.

3) Data-Driven Iteration
Rapid Versioning: When something works, you can quickly create 5–10 high-quality variations (background swaps, new hooks, layout changes, alternate offer framing) to scale the winner.
Feedback Loops: Work closely with Creative Strategists and Media Buyers to make performance-based edits using real data (CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS).

What You’ll Need (Ordered by Importance)
? AI Workflow Mastery

AI must be a core part of your process. You should be able to show examples where AI materially improved speed and output quality.
? Design Software Excellence

Strong command of:
Figma (layout + fast production)
Photoshop (image manipulation + polishing)
? Paid Social / DTC Experience (2+ years)

You’ve designed ads for e-commerce brands and understand the difference between:
what looks “nice”
vs.
what actually converts
? Conversion-Driven Design Thinking

You understand hooks, messaging hierarchy, visual emphasis, and how to build ads that win attention in-feed.
? Speed + Reliability

You can produce high volume without the work becoming sloppy or inconsistent.
? Clear Communication

Great written and spoken English — you can handle feedback, ask smart questions, and move quickly async. What Success Looks Like
Predictable Output: You consistently deliver a high volume of strong creative weekly.
Premium Quality: AI imagery looks believable, polished, and on-brand.
Performance Mindset: Your work is built for results and improves through iteration.
Efficiency: You continuously sharpen your workflow and shorten time from brief ? export.

How to Apply
Please send the following:
Portfolio link (must include paid social ad creatives)
2–3 examples where you used AI as part of the workflow. Briefly explain what tool(s) you used and why

Shortlisted candidates will be given a short paid test project (60–90 minutes) to evaluate speed, taste, and conversion-focused execution.
