About Sesh Mafia
Sesh Mafia is a hospitality group operating multiple venues. We need a hands-on marketing professional who can create content, build strategy, and drive foot traffic to our venues — not someone who needs to be told what to do every day.
The Role
This is a do-it-all marketing role. You’ll be responsible for the entire content pipeline across our venues — from ideation to execution. You’ll produce daily content, manage our social media presence, edit video, and develop marketing strategies that get people through the door.
This is not a “post and ghost” role. We need someone who thinks like a marketer, not just a content scheduler.
Daily Responsibilities
• Produce daily social media content (reels, stories, posts) across multiple venue accounts
• Edit video content to a professional standard (short-form and promotional)
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive traffic to our venues
• Manage all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook at minimum)
• Create marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and event collateral
• Track performance metrics and adjust strategy based on results
• Coordinate with venue managers on upcoming events, promotions, and offerings
• Stay across hospitality and social media trends relevant to bars, restaurants, and nightlife
Requirements — Non-Negotiable
• Marketing degree (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar digital marketing / content creation role
• Direct experience in hospitality marketing (restaurants, bars, venues, nightlife)
• Strong English proficiency (IELTS, TESDA certification, or equivalent — must be demonstrable)
• Proven video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar)
• Strong portfolio of social media work with measurable results
• Own computer with specs capable of video editing and content creation
• Reliable high-speed internet connection
• Strong understanding of AI tools for content creation (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, CapCut AI features, etc.) — you should already be using these daily
Bonus — Will Set You Apart
• Experience working with Australian hospitality brands
• Photography skills
• Graphic design capability (Canva Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Understanding of Australian slang, culture, and humour

• Hit the ground running — we’ll provide brand guidelines and assets, but you need to be self-sufficient from week one
• Daily output — this isn’t a few posts a week. We need consistent, quality content every single day
• Proactive communication — flag issues, pitch ideas, and keep us in the loop without being chased
• Results-driven mindset — vanity metrics don’t pay the bills. We care about bums on seats
