JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fast growing ecom startup in the pet niche with a mission to scale fast. Currently, we have a team of two full-time video editors, and as we grow, we are looking for a third high-performer to join the pack. If you are a fast-paced editor who loves the efficiency of AI, this is for you.

We don’t need "starving artists" or perfectionists who spend hours on a single frame. We need Assembly Specialists: high-performers who can take raw components, AI avatars, brand B-roll, and snappy captions, and fuse them into high-converting short-form content.

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing

Your goal is to make the spoken message clear, engaging, and lightning-fast.

AI Integration: Generating and syncing AI avatars (primarily using HeyGen).

Rapid Assembly: Using fast cuts to maintain high viewer retention.

Visual Sourcing & Creation: Pulling B-roll from our internal brand folder, sourcing from the web, or generating custom B-roll using AI tools.

Precision Editing: Following detailed briefs to ensure every "piece" of the content puzzle fits perfectly.

What We Look For

Speed & Quality: You understand that "done is better than perfect," but you don't sacrifice brand standards.

Technical Agility: You are comfortable jumping between editing software and AI generation tools.

Reliability: We provide the instructions; you provide the output. You take feedback well and apply it instantly.

Compensation & Tools

We believe in rewarding efficiency and results. Instead of a traditional hourly rate, we pay per minute of finished content.

The Math: Based on our previous rate of $5/hour and an average editing speed of 1 minute per 2 hours, we offer $10 per finished minute of content.

Efficiency Bonus: If you are faster and more precise, your effective hourly rate increases significantly.

Winning Video Bonus: We scale fast, and we want you to grow with us. You will receive a bonus for "winning videos" that perform exceptionally well for the brand.

Feedback Policy: Detailed feedback is provided for every video. Revisions based on original instructions are part of the per-minute rate, rewarding those who are precise the first time.

Everything Provided: We cover the costs of all AI tools (HeyGen, Midjourney, etc.) and editing software subscriptions.

How to Apply
