Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Off-Page SEO and Link Building Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive link building strategies that improve domain authority, increase organic traffic, and enhance our online visibility. This role requires expertise in white-hat link acquisition techniques, relationship building, and advanced SEO methodologies including the skyscraper technique.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic off-page SEO campaigns focused on high-quality link acquisition from authoritative websites
Execute the skyscraper method by identifying high-performing content in target niches, creating superior versions, and conducting strategic outreach to secure backlinks from websites linking to competing content
Conduct comprehensive link gap analysis and competitive backlink research to identify link building opportunities
Build and maintain relationships with webmasters, bloggers, journalists, and industry influencers for ongoing link placement opportunities
Create compelling outreach campaigns and personalized
Manage guest posting campaigns, including identifying target websites, coordinating content creation, and securing publication with proper link attribution
Monitor and analyze backlink profiles using tools such as Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, and Majestic to track performance and identify potential issues
Identify and disavow toxic or spammy backlinks that could harm domain authority
Collaborate with content and social media teams to create linkable assets such as infographics, research studies, tools, and comprehensive guides
Prepare monthly reports on link building performance, including metrics on new backlinks acquired, domain authority improvements, and referral traffic increases
Required Qualifications
3+ years of proven experience in off-page SEO and link building with demonstrable results
Expert knowledge of the skyscraper technique and its application in modern link building strategies
Proficiency with SEO tools including Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, Majestic, BuzzStream, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of Google's algorithm updates, ranking factors, and white-hat SEO best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective outreach and relationship building
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI
Experience with content marketing and understanding of what makes content linkable and shareable
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in digital PR and securing links from high-authority news and media outlets
Knowledge of technical SEO principles and how off-page factors integrate with on-page optimization
Familiarity with broken link building, resource page link building, and other advanced techniques
Experience working with international or multilingual SEO campaigns
Relevant certifications such as Google Analytics, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, or SEO-specific credentials
