JOB OVERVIEW

I am seeking a motivated QA/QC Civil Engineer to support our growing operations. The role will focus on quality documentation, project coordination and compliance across multiple infrastructure projects, working closely with our project managers, site supervisors and clients.

This position plays an important role in ensuring our projects are delivered in accordance with client specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Documentation
Compile, review and manage QA/QC documentation across multiple active projects.
Coordinate and compile Inspection and Test Records (ITR's) on a weekly basis across project sites.
Assist in the preparation and review of Inspection Test Plans (ITP's), Methodologies and SWMS.
Conduct internal quality audits to ensure project documentation aligns with project specifications and client requirements.
Maintain organised project quality registers and documentation systems.
Project Coordination
Liaise with Project Managers, Site Foremen and Client Delivery Teams to ensure all quality deliverables are completed and submitted in accordance with project schedules.
Support project teams in maintaining quality compliance and reporting requirements.
Assist with the preparation of project work programs and documentation submissions.
Project Administration

Assist Project Managers with general project administration tasks, including:
Tracking labour hours and project reporting.
Preparing and recording weekly meeting minutes (Teams meetings and project reviews).
Maintaining project documentation and correspondence records.
Tender Support

Assist the National Estimator with the preparation of upcoming tenders by:
Compiling technical documentation.
Assisting with methodology preparation.
Supporting document submissions.
Client Reporting
Compile and issue Manufacturer Data Reports (MDRs) and project close-out documentation for client submission.
Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant prior to project handover.

Skills & Experience

Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Experience in QA/QC documentation within construction or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of:
ITP's
ITR's
SWMS
Project methodologies and quality documentation.
Strong organisational and document control skills.
Ability to coordinate with multiple project teams simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel document management systems.
